Mont Tremblant Dog Sledding

Mont Tremblant Dog Sledding, Canada, Quebec, Travel Vlog

Today I’m really excited to share my Mont Tremblant Dog Sledding adventures with you; but not only show you in picture and written format but to actually take you on the experience with me by way of a vlog. I’m thrilled to have published my very first video on YouTube!!

It took me absolutely forever to learn how to edit and upload, and while it’s not perfect and I still have a lot to learn, I am so proud of how my very first video/vlog has turned out. This video is Part 1/3 in my Mont Tremblant travel vlog series, and I’m taking you with me as I fly there with Porter, arrive at the Fairmont Hotel, and experience two really fun winter activities: snowshoeing and dog sledding. I hope you really enjoy watching the video; and of course, if you did I would appreciate you giving it a thumbs up on YouTube, and if you want to see more videos from me in the future then make sure you subscribe to my new channel (yay!).

If you haven’t seen them yet, make sure you check out my Mont Tremblant snowshoeing adventure photos from yesterday; so you can get the full experience with both the video and photos combined.

I’ve had always thought it would be so fun to go dog sledding, because any pictures or videos I’ve seen of it looked really cool. And just like snowshoeing, I had never gotten around to doing it, until now. The verdict is in my friends, and Mont Tremblant Dog Sledding is something you should add to your list of the best winter activities to do!

Dog Sledding Tremblant was the company we went on the excursion with, which is the one recommended by (and booked through) the Mont Tremblant Activity Centre, so we knew they were reputable. It was only a 5 minute free shuttle ride from the village, which was really convenient. When we got there we had time to meet the adorable dogs before getting on the sleds for some fun. The dogs were really cute and you could tell they loved running and being outside.

Passing by the gorgeous scenery was one of my favourite things about this adventure. The valley trails were surrounded by pine forests and vast open fields (actually a golf course in the summer). When we stopped for a mid dog sledding break we had a stunning view of Mont-Tremblant. During our break we were treated to hot chocolate and cookies in a charming tent – it was a nice added touch to the day, and a great way to break up the dog sledding.

Make sure you watch my vlog to see the dog sledding in action – and if you haven’t already, don’t forget to jump over to see my photos of snowshoeing!

Leave me a comment below to let me know what you think of my first Youtube Video! I’d also love to hear what your favourite winter activities are, so make sure to let me know.

xo,
Victoria
