It’s been so darn cold here in Toronto over the last few days; so naturally, all I’ve wanted to do is: a) cuddle up in warm blankets with lots and lots of tea and coffee, and b) jump on a plane and travel somewhere warm (preferably with a beach).
Although I know that it’s not beach weather in Vancouver right now, I can’t help but reminisce, and miss, my amazing beach days from traveling there this summer. My absolute favourite beach in Vancouver (at least out of the ones I’ve been to) is Third Beach in Stanley Park; which is at Ferguson Point.
If you haven’t been to Third Beach in Stanley Park yet, I highly recommend you put it on your travel list! I love renting a bike (or better yet, borrowing one from my sister) to ride around Stanley Park; stopping numerous times along the way to take in all the beauty. My longest stops are always at Third Beach because it’s my favourite – especially when the tide is out (you can walk out for quite some time!).
