Travel // Lemaire Channel, Antarctica

If you’ve read my about page you know that traveling to every continent is on my Bucket List; but, what you probably don’t know is that I only have two left to visit: South America and Antarctica. So naturally, I spend a lot of time looking at photos of Antarctica in all it’s beauty – getting myself psyched up for whenever the day comes that I get to experience such a wonder (which is hopefully sooner rather than later).

As I was cruising the websites of a bunch of travel photographers, I came across Gary Arnt’s stunning photos of the Lemaire Channel. I find looking at Antarctica scenery very smoothing and peaceful. The glaciers and icebergs are breathtaking, and seeing seals and penguins in their natural habitat would be so cool! I’m putting the Lemaire Channel on my “What I Must Do & See In Antarctica” List. What about you?

Have you ever been to Antarctica? If so, what should we all put on our must do/see list? If you haven’t been, is it someplace you’d like to visit? Why or why not? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comment section below!

That’s one noble goal! But, how much of every continent do you get to see?

Thanks Miranili! Some places I’ve only been to one country, others I’ve been to a few. I try to stay at least a week or two in each place. My goal is to visit each continent atleast once – but more than once is of course perferrable. 😉 From what I’ve seen, most Antarctia tours are only a few days.
