Outfit // Pink Maxi Dress

I bought this pink maxi dress from forever 21 for my trip to Jamaica and never ended up wearing it. Not because I don’t love it, but because it was so so hot there when we went that I opted for other dresses I had packed. Part of me is really sad I didn’t just suck it up and wear it, because it’s so pretty (it has slits in the skirt so it would have been breezy). I love maxi dresses, and this one’s soft pink colour, paired with the darker pink and green floral print, really stood out to me.

I’ll be trying to get a lot more wear out of this dress while I can, before the cold weather hits. I plan on pairing it with a denim jacket for the slightly cooler days/evenings, and for outfit variation, changing up the look with a leather jacket. I’ll also consider packing this maxi dress with me when Klay and I go on our honeymoon (we went on a mini-moon right after we got married, but we’ll be going on an actual honeymoon soon – we welcome all honeymoon ideas in the comment section at the bottom of this post).
