There is something about a pretty feminine midi skirt that instantly makes me feel great! Do you have a piece of clothing that does that to you?
When I saw this one in H&M I knew I had to have it – the floral applique was too pretty to resist (it also comes in coral pink)! In the store, I wasn’t sure what I’d wear the skirt with, so the true test was taking it home to see if it looked good with anything already in my closet.
I was able to pull my white dress shirt out of my closet for an instant match. They work so well together because the top is simple, which compliments the busyness of the skirt. Note: This is why wardrobe staples are so damn necessary!
I opted for this specific white dress shirt because it has more drape than a classic dress shirt, giving my outfit a softer, more romantic look. That being said, if you want to replicate this look for yourself and only have a classic button up dress shirt (made of stiffer shirting) your outfit will still look great!
