I love long weekends. period. Honestly, what’s there not to love (besides the traffic, if you’re leaving the city)?!
The first half of my long weekend was spent in Toronto; shopping along Queen West, dining on the patio of South of Temperance (fri) and at BQM on Ossington (sat) with great friends, and watching a (not so great) movie while cuddling with my man.
I spent the latter of the weekend celebrating Canada Day by taking in one of the natural wonders of the World (and one of Canada’s greatest landmarks) Niagara Falls. My boyfriend and I walked along the falls, wondered the streets, bar hopped, ate a delicious dinner at Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse, tried our luck at the casino, and celebrated Canada’s 145th Birthday by watching fireworks.
It was just the kind of weekend I needed to bring in summer!
