Life Lately.

Happy Friday Friends!!

As you can see I didn’t really post anything this week, besides my One Of A Kind Show Ticket Giveaway post. Why? It’s my birthday week so I took a break to celebrate non-stop. 😉

On my actual birthday I made a trip to Chanel to buy the handbag of my dreams! I am still on a high from it all, and I’m pretty sure I will be for.like.ever. I’ve got some pictures to show you soon; but to tide you over until then, take a peek at it on my instagram!

As a birthday outing, my mom, sister and I went to Her Majesty’s Pleasure for some pampering. It’s in Toronto on King Street West, and if you haven’t I highly recommend you grab the ladies in your life and make a day of it (and if you have, well…don’t be afraid to do it again. You can never have too much of a good thing, right?! 😉 )

We each received a manicure and pedicure while sipping delicious island cocktails; followed by snacks and tea. It was the perfect day out!

This week I went to Pink The Town‘s Glitter Donut Making Party at Le Dolci, that I was telling you about in this blog post. It was my kind of party! A pretty tablescape, great company, and lots and lots of glitter and sprinkles! How cute are the brioche donuts I made (pictured above)!?! I was thrilled with how perfectly they turned out, and how simple is really is to make donuts.

My mom and I find every and any opportunity to visit Yorkdale Mall, grab a Starbucks, and shop! Her birthday is two days before mine, so we find a lot of ways to keep our birthday month full of celebration. I can’t think of a better excuse to head out to the mall for some birthday week shopping, can you? 😉

We always pop into Hudson’s Bay because there are so many great brands to pick from. They also always have the most amazing displays; and this time of year they give me hope that the warmer spring weather is on it’s way!

I set out on a mission this week to finalize some of my spring fabric orders for AGAPE + HESED. I decided on some really amazing colours and prints that I think you’ll fall head over heels for. I’ll be posting up new products to my shop frequently, so make sure you keep checking back!

Last night I went out to dinner at Cluny Bistro in the Distillery District with some of my favourite ladies (Iva, Nicole, Jenny, Gaby). The picture above is of the bar, but we sat in the dining area.

It was my first time at Cluny and I’ll definitely be going back! The food was amazing and the decor was oh-so-pretty! I got the Steak and Frites for my entree, followed by The Bakers Sampling for dessert (which was O-M-G).
