Life Lately.

Happy Friday Friends!!

This has been a pretty great week for me, for many reasons, but it has a lot to do with the fact that March is my birthday month!! Only a few days (March 10th to be exact) until I venture into the last year of my twenties. I know I have such an exciting and eventful year ahead of me and I can’t wait to share it with all of you!

As you probably already know, I take my birthday month very seriously – aka, I celebrate all month long! Yes I’m that kind of girl, and I strongly recommend you jump on the birthday month bandwagon if you haven’t already!

First, I started off my birthday month by re-launching my Etsy shop, AGAPE + HESED! It’s not often I talk about the design side of my life on my blog, but it’s about time I change that, right?

I started my Etsy shop years ago as a little side thing because some family and friends wanted me to make them gifts they could give to people for Christmas. After I started my shop I gained some private clients, and as one thing lead to another, my business started to grow. My Etsy shop, however, has never really received much attention from me, because I never really thought about ‘taking it seriously’ (so to speak); that is, until recently!

I have now released a new look and a bunch of new products on my shop that I know you’ll love – so go check it out! New products will continually pop up on the shop, including some fun pieces for spring/summer; so make sure you check back frequently – or better yet, stay informed by connecting with me/AGAPE + HESED on my newly launched social media channels (@agapeandhesed) >> Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.

I also kicked off my birthday month by taking a high heel cake top making class. Although it’s the perfect activity to do when celebrating your birthday, it was actually a Christmas gift from my older sister and brother-in-law, to my younger sister and I. We had the most amazing time!

I decided to make my fondant shoe look like a Valentino Bow Heel because I’m totally obsessed with them. I was (and still am) truly amazed at how beautiful the final product turned out; which I promise to show you as soon as I’m allowed to take the shoe off the base and the tissue out of the bow. I have to wait 4-6 days so for the fondant to set. So stay tuned 😉

Beet-Juice-from-Fresh-and-Vanity-Fair-Magazine

This week I made the resolution to make more time to relax. While I would be lying to you if I told you I had a good amount of down time, I did manage to flip through a few of my favourite magazines and try out Fresh‘s beet juice. I sampled a bunch of Fresh juice the other week, but this was my first full bottle. Healthy deliciousness made easy – I’m kind of obsessed.

What adventures have you been up to this week? I’d love to hear from you in the comment section below!

Cheers to the freakin’ weekend everyone!
