{oh-so-decadent white hot chocolate and macarons from Bakeryhaus}

This week has been so huge and exciting for me, but I have to wait just a little longer to tell you why. I promise you’ll fall in love!

Besides being a great week because of my secretive news, I did some pretty cool things that I’ve captured in picture form for you.

I’ve walked by Bakeryhaus a million and ten times, but I never took a moment to pop and really experience it. That is, until this week (see the picture above). I’m a sucker for white hot chocolate, and this one is definitely a winner! “YUM” doesn’t even begin to describe it – I was pretty bummed out when my cup was empty. I also tried their raspberry macaron and it was heaven.

Etsy-Canada-Davids-Tea-Collaboration-Ceramic-Mugs-Handmade-In-Canada
Tuesday evening, I went to the press event for Etsy‘s newest collaboration. This time a few of Etsy’s artisans have teamed up with DAVIDsTEA to offer handmade, limited edition mugs. It was such a pleasure to meet Yusuke and Naomi, the Toronto artisans from Akai Ceramic Studio, who created three ceramic mugs (top shelf, left, in the picture above) for DAVIDs TEA. They are both so incredibly sweet and insanely talented. It was love at first sight when I saw their pink Akai tall mug – that I couldn’t leave the store without one.

I want to give you a heads up that, if you love the mugs, you better act fast. I guarantee you they will not be in stock long. You can buy them at DAVID’s TEA online and in their stores.

The-Pink-Grapefruit-Toronto-Queen-Street-East
Another first for me was experiencing The Pink Grapefruit, which you can find on Queen Street East in Toronto. I tried some of their roasted vegetables, and have confirmed that this place is one of the best go-to cafes for healthy and delicious food.

I also tried their new charcoal lemonade which, helloooooo, is delicious beyond belief. Don’t let the blackness of it fool you into thinking that it’s not going to taste amazing, because it does.

Shop-For-Jayu-Clutches-Affordable-Spring-Accessories
I’m excited to announce that I’m collaborating with Shop For Jayu for their Jayu Blogged photoshoot and lookbook! It’s happening this Sunday and is going to be all kinds of fun. Make sure you stop by my Instagram for in-the-moment pictures of the us behind the scenes.

At our meeting this week, I got to see the Shop For Jayu spring collection and, FYI, it is full of pretty jewels and fun clutches (picture above). I would tell you to start saving your pennies, but they’re so affordable you don’t even have to save. #HighFive

Queen-Mother-Cafe-Pad-Thai-Toronto-Queen-Street-West
Have you been to Queen Mother Cafe before? If you’re a pad thai lover like myself, and live in Toronto (or are making a trip here at some point), I recommend you head to Queen Street West and stop in for lunch or dinner. My sister and I had a lunch date there this week and we indulged in the pad thai (pictured above) and spring rolls. I just can’t get enough of the peanut sauce they give you to dip your spring rolls in.

What adventures have you been up to this week? I’d love to hear in the comment section below!

Cheers to the freakin’ weekend everyone!
