This week my life was full of coffee shops, work, and fun events (aka more work but mixed with play). All in all, it was relaxing, productive and thrilling all wrapped up into 7 days.
I don’t know about you, but when I’m in a room full of amazing shoes and super cool accessories, my adrenaline kicks in. Which is exactly what happened when I attended TOMS spring/summer 2015 collection preview (see photo above). They are so many amazing pieces, and they’ve already started to pop up on TOMS online shop.
This season TOMS has introduced high heels to their shoe line! Four really cute peep toe booties with a stacked leather heel. *please note: this is where (if, in real life, you were in front of me) I’d high five you; so let’s virtual high five, okay?!
TOMS also has something else fun in store for all of us; but my lips are sealed until the end of February – so come back to find out the exciting news!
Like I mentioned in this life lately post, one of the perks of self employment is making pretty coffee shops your office for the day. Well, another perk is having a work date with another lady boss at said pretty coffee shop. Jacquelyn and I spent an afternoon working at Dineen, while sipping on lattes and eating delicious pastries. Of course, we also took a few breaks here and there to chat; because, taking small breaks actually makes you more productive. #fact.
I’ve been quite spoiled by Bizou. They sent me like a bazillion sunglasses from their new spring/summer collection. The excitement of it all was enough to almost knock me off my feet. So many options, so much possibility. I can’t wait to start wearing them all. Fingers crossed that the warm weather comes early this year.
This past weekend, I got together with a bunch of my (at the time) university roommates, and our partners, for a fabulous birthday celebration. Obviously pretty cupcakes were on the menu, because a) what would a birthday be without some kind of cake or cupcakes? and b) my friend Jenna is pretty much Martha Stewart.
There is nothing as heart warming as spending quality time with great friends.
Fun Fact: While in university I lived in a house with 7 other girls, and we had the time of our lives!
This week, I attended a movie screening for the film After The Ball, which is set to hit theaters Feb 27th. It was such a cute, lighthearted, fun and fashionable movie – I would totally recommend you grab the ladies in your life and make an evening of it. Get dressed up in something cute when you do, because it’s just that kind of movie. Read all about this movie in one of my previous blog posts.
What’s also really cool about this movie, is that LE CHÂTEAU has designed the entire wardrobe. They created every single piece of clothing, all the shoes, and each accessory the actors are wearing. Plus, you can already shop the exact same pieces you see in the movie.
