I love this outfit for two reasons; it’s really comfortable to wear, and it’s made up of almost entirely wardrobe essentials.
I picked out this outfit in five minutes or less because I had get dressed and out the door as fast as possible, so I wouldn’t be late for a (casual) meeting.
The fact that I could put together an outfit so fast is because I was able to grab a few fashion staples that always look good together: a basic white t-shirt, black pants, aviator sunglasses, and a denim jacket. I decided to add a few fun pieces to my look to keep it fresh and on trend, which is where the marble necklace and striped espadrille wedge sandals come into play.
I had the wedges sitting on my floor because I had just bought them, so they were the perfect option for me. However, a classic pump in black or nude would have worked perfectly – so would a heeled sandal or ballet flat in the same neutral colours.
Next time you’re in a rush to get out the door, I hope you remember this post and decide to throw on these essentials; instead of frantically tearing everything out of your closet and stressing yourself out (I’ve done that too many times to count and this option is way better).
