Cinderella’s Glass Slippers // Shoes by Marc Jacobs

Cinderella’s Glass Slippers // Shoes by Marc Jacobs

Disney lovers beware! With these Marc by Marc Jacobs glass slippers, it’s now more possible than ever to be a little more like Cinderella…or at least that’s the appeal!

Leave it to Marc Jacobs to transform fairy tales into reality with these transparent pumps made of PVC. Although not actually made of glass (because of the obvious danger), they are still pretty dreamy. I don’t find them super attractive, but the idea of them makes me happy. A great shoe to have for display purposes maybe!?

Also, how fun is this quote?! A great “excuse” to buy a pretty pair of shoes, me thinks. πŸ˜‰

You can shop more from Marc Jacobs at Shopbop, Net-A-Porter, Nordstrom, Neiman MarcusLUISAVIAROMA, and The Real Real.

Have a great weekend!!

xo,
V.

There’s no way I would wear these shoes, they are dreamy, I’ll give you that, but unlike Cinderella they probably won’t fit perfectly, which means my feet would look like a heap of squeezed toes inside it, not very nice to see…
And I knew that quote a little bit differently: ‘A pair of new shoes can change your life. Ask Cinderella’.

Haute, that’s an amazing quote!! I love your wording – Cinderella is proof that a new pair of shoes can change your life. Haha, I love it. It’s so true! Although, like you, I don’t think they’re superrrr attractive, I fully see the appeal! They would not only be a great topic of conversation – in many respects – but they would also look cute on display! Elegant, even =) Haha, They’re puuurdy.

I also think the quote is great, but I did not make it up (and could not find its original source, so I’m not sure who did. πŸ™ ) I just took the quote and paired it with the Marc Jacobs pumps I found, and made it look pretty.

And ur absolutely right, they’re a great conversion starter piece…I hadn’t even thought of that!

I think they’re really great – but I have sweaty feet πŸ™‚ Can you imagine how foggy they’d be?? I suppose if I win the lottery though, I’d totally put one on a shelf in my custom closet πŸ˜‰
