This outfit is the perfect example of timeless style. Everything I’m wearing is at least a year old; even though some items, like my sunglasses, are still available (and of course my Chanel handbag). In fact, my turtleneck is probably at least five years old. This isn’t to say that I don’t get rid of my clothes (I promise I’m not a hoarder 😉 ), but there are some pieces that are worth keeping around.
A classic wool coat: check
Basic black pumps: check
Neutral faux fur scarf. check
Basic black turtle neck: check
Cat-eye sunglasses: check
A timeless handbag: quadruple check
My point is, if you invest in timeless pieces, you can put together different outfits that feel fresh and don’t look dated. You’ll save yourself the trouble of having to shop for new items all the time.
