I saw this blue-ish grey leopard coat in store at Old Navy a while back and almost passed it up. Can you believe it?! Not because I didn’t like it (my eyes were attracted to it right away), but because I thought I didn’t “need” a coat. Then I walked by it again and decided there was no harm in trying it on; you know, just to see what it looked like. Well, I’m sure you all know what happened next…
I fell in love.
In the rules of not spending your money, number one is not to even look; number two is not to try anything on. I went against all the rules and of course ended with a huge crush on the coat. But I didn’t learn my lesson, because when I looked at the price tag to see how much it cost, starring back at my was only $25!! Needless to say, at that price, this fabulous coat walked out of the store with me.
It’s perfect and lightweight for spring temperatures, so I’m wearing it a lot right now. So much so that I realized spring coats are a huge gap in my closet. Now I’m on the look out for more cute options. I’ve started the hunt, and if you look a few photos above you can see some of my favourites that I’ve rounded up so far – so you can browse the interwebs with me. I’ll keep you posted as I find more fun spring coats we can spruce up our spring wardrobes with.
