Outfit // One Dress. Three Ways.

Outfit // One Dress. Three Ways.

Henkaa recently gifted me one of their fabulous dresses that can be worn too many ways to count…seriously.  Amazing right? To be honest, I was a little unsure how it would look, until I tried it on and saw for myself. My conclusion: it’s magic.

The dress comes in three lengths; mini, midi and maxi. I chose the midi in turquoise teal  and I’ve been having so much fun with this dress ever since.

The most important item to have in your wardrobe is one that can be worn anytime, anywhere. Naturally, a little black dress comes to mind; and while I’m a firm believer in the LBD, I also like to have fun with colour. Here I wanted to show you how you can transform one dress into three different looks for three different holiday occasions! {stay tuned to see these looks in more detail in future blog posts}

It’s easy to get a glamorous look for the holidays, and quickly. I paired the Henkaa dress with a neutral colour palette to complement it’s vibrant colour. To take the look to the next level, I chose classic pieces that stand the test of time: round toe heels with a vintage coat and handbag. I threw my hair into a messy side bun and let a few curls fall out the side – simple and chic. Top it off with big jewellery that sparkles and you’ll have your self a glamorous holiday party!

This second look I styled for a more causal holiday affair; say a party at a friends or dinner at an adorable boutique restaurant. To make this look a little more casual I opted to wear the Henkaa dress as a skirt (yes ladies, it even doubles as a skirt!), and pair it with a fun Christmas sweater! Accessorize with a fun necklace, practical satchel and stand out heels!

The holiday season is full of cocktail parties with friends, family and co-workers. Sometimes things can get a little hectic between work, parties and shopping for presents; and that’s why this look is oh-so-amazing. It literally only takes a few minutes to pull together, though you would never know it.  Wrap the dress around you, slip on your heels, throw on a necklace, grab your clutch and you’re ready! It wouldn’t be the Holidays without being a little festive, so I styled this look with a few pops of red. Turquoise and red may just be my new favourite colour palette!!

How would you style this Henkaa dress?
