My Magically Festive Toronto Weekend // The Christmas Market + Ice Skating

While it’s nice to escape the city every once and awhile, some of my favourite weekends are spent right here in Toronto. The city has so much life all year around and I feel that I never fully take advantage of it.

This weekend Klay and I made it our mission to explore the fun winter activities Toronto has to offer! We braved the snow storm to wander around The Christmas Market in The Distillery, resulting in a magical night. A ginormous Christmas Tree, adorable little booths, so many pretty lights, and lots of food options…it was like a scene out of a Christmas movie!

We also went ice skating at Harbourfront Centre; for probably the first time in a decade…crazy right?! Long overdue! Again, it was magical. Music playing, Christmas lights all around, the lake to one side and the city to the other, the Rogers Centre lit up oh-so-festively…it was the perfect date night.

Conclusion: More of these weekends are needed!
