As I sit in Starbucks writing this blog post, I’m pretty sure everyone in the coffee shop can see me drooling; and it’s not over the delicious vanilla bean scones, it’s over this stunning dream home. In my books, it’s the epitome of southern-coastal house inspiration!

The exterior of this southern home is what I am in love with the most. It’s actually what grabbed my attention in the first place, when browsing Southern Living Magazine for house inspiration. I love the double decker patio-balcony combination – and don’t even get me started on the detailed trim and touches of Victorian architecture. #swoon



It doesn’t get much more southern than a pale blue and white colour palette, which is sprinkled all over the interior home decor, as well as the home’s exterior.

I also love that the back of the house was designed with the view of the lake in mind – every corner is oriented with a gorgeous view. The bi-folding doors to the porch are stunning. I can practically feel the breeze off the water while writing this blog post.
