Currently Coveting: A Vintage Inspired Bicycle

{February 2012 Issue of Glamour UK}

{Bobbin Bicycles – Birdie Bike}

{Anthropologie – Breukelen Bike}

I know this post isn’t really fashion related (although I do love the outfit in the first picture! Check out those heels!! ♥), but I did warn you in my “about” section that I’ll stray off topic every once and awhile…

I’ve been coveting a modern vintage inspired bike for some time now, but as spring gets closer and closer that desire increases! I want to bike ride around Center Island, have picnics and go to the beach, but I want a cute bike for that. Call me crazy but I think it would make the experience that much more enjoyable!

    My bike died two weeks ago πŸ™ As a student in the Netherlands my bike was my everything. I try to find a red racing bike, it would look so cool, sporty and chic at the same time… but impossible to ride properly in heels, so I should find two bikes: my cool-dream bike and just a normal one πŸ™‚ something like the one in the first picture, delivered with the outfit and shoes, that would be very nice!!

    I love the mint one πŸ™‚ but I don’t live in a place where I bike is all that practical (but I wish it was!)

    I wholeheartedly agree
    I’ve come THIS close to splurging on that anthro bike on more than one occasion. I worry about it getting stolen – my heart would break

    Justin and I are visiting some guy in pickering who restores old bikes as a hobby and sells them for cheap. I’ll let you know how it goes!

      Ooooh yessss, I’ve never even thought about the fact that it may get stolen! Extra care needed, that’s all!!

      I’d love to hear what you and Justin discover πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    Go to Curbside Cycle (on Bloor St. in Toronto)!! They have the Bobbins and the Ladies there know how to help you keep your bike from getting stolen. They are super lovely and very helpful!
