I came across both this illustration and this ASOS Zip based bag awhile ago, but it wasn’t until recently that I realized the ASOS bag matches the one in the drawing really well. Naturally, I got really excited and had to share it with you all!! 🙂
Not only do I fancy the outfit in this illustration, but the quote makes me smile because it’s 10000% true. I wish I knew who the illustrator was because it’s such a great drawing and I’d love to see more.
I also have a crush on this ASOS handbag and find myself gazing at it frequently. The colour choices and colour blocking are great, and I love that it’s separated by a zippered bottom. It helps that the zipper joining them is gold, because it stands out and really tops off the bag! The bonus: this bag is VERY affordable (compared to other ones I usually covet) at a mere $50ish.

wow it’s SO nice!
I think I’d prefer it if it wasn’t patent? I was THIS close to purchasing it but I’m not sure how I feel about the gloss. Help!
Haha, well I do think it would look nice with a matte finish, I actually really like the fact that it’s patent; I think makes the bag look a little more ritz. It’s a good amount if dressy to be worn to work with something nice, but can also be paired with a more casual look…say jeans; the patent adds a little extra “umph” to a casual look. Without being too overdone.
