{ Alice and Olivia – Alyssa Embellished Party Dress }
It has been “awhile” since an item has has made my heart skip a beat, but that is exactly what this Alyssa Emblelished Party Dress by Alice and Olivia did to me. At first glance, there’s no doubt that it’s a beautiful dress, but when you break it down and look at the details, it’s the simple things that turn it from beautiful to stunning. A neutral hue. A simple silhouette. Delicate silk fabric. Shimmering silver sequins & beads. A ruched waste. A cut-out back.
I also can’t help but notice that the embellishments are most sparse at the shoulders and hem, then gradually radiant towards the waste, making it the defined focal point; which for most people is their smallest part and therefore the most flattering. An accident? I think not.
This is a party dress indeed and I can’t help but swoon over it.
Gorgeous! Now if only I had events in my life which require adorable and sophisticated party dresses… I’ll work on that for this one!

This is an absolutely stunning dress… I saw a something a little bit similar quite a while ago and ever since I have been searching for it!
OoOoOoo, I hate when that happens!! When I saw something I want but don’t get it right away, then later go bac for it and it’s gone…that item haunts me. C’est horrible!
