‘A Little Lux’ Girls Night Out with Fresita {at SPiN Toronto}

Last Wednesday, three friends and I (along with bloggers Melanie & Vanessa, and their friends) were treated to an incredibly fun ‘A Little Lux’ Girls Night Out, thanks to Fresita.

It wasn’t your typical Girls Night Out. We embarked on an adventure of ping pong, friendly competition, great music by DJ FeelGoodSmalls, delicious bites, and a lot of Fresita (Chilean sparkling wine that you must try out because it’s oh-so-delicious. And it’s made from handpicked strawberries. I know…so cool, right!?!).

Have you ever been to SPiN to play ping pong with friends? I hadn’t until this event. I had walked by the SPiN sign on King Street numerous times, but never made my way down the alley to check it out. It was my first time, and honestly will not be my last. It was a unique and fresh experience; so much so that I’m already planning my return.

We played a fun game of RoundTable that was open to anyone at SPiN. We all lined up, with our paddles, at one end of the table, and a ping pong pro at the other end. He hit the ball to us, and if we successfully hit the ball back we had to run around the table, then get back in line. If not, we were out.

I must note that I was wearing heels during this game, and was one of the last standing in competition. But really; don’t all pros play ping pong in high heels? 😉

What I’m Wearing: Both from Express, a Strapless Metallic Jacquard Fit and Flare Dress, with a Convertible Sleeve Portfolio Shirt over top, to make the dress look like a skirt.

Fresita definitely knows how to throw a party, and I’m so happy I got to be part of it.  The evening reminded me that fun can be had in unexpected places and in unexpected ways. That I need to seek out more adventure around the city; explore Toronto to it’s fullest. After all, what’s the point in living in such an awesome city if you never take the time experience it to the fullest!?
